Huawei Mate 20 Pro will launch with Huawei’s 15W quick wireless charger in India next month, Confirms Company
Huawei has confirmed that its 15W wireless charger will also be launched with the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The phone will be Amazon exclusive in India.
In earlier October, Huawei Consumer Business Group, India announced that they will launch their latest flagship devices the Huawei Mate 20 Pro in India. But there is no specific date announced for the release. We now know that the phone will arrive in India mid-November. Alongside the flagship handset, the company will also launch their wireless charger in the Indian market.
Huawei says that they have developed a 15W (Max) quick wireless charger that delivers the speed which is equally fast as a wired charger. Huawei says that the wireless charger can charge 12% of battery in just 10 minutes. And if a user charges a phone for 30 minutes, the battery will charge to 31%.
To keep it universally compatible, the charger is based on Qi standard, and it is said to adjust the output power automatically to charge devices that support Qi wireless charging.
The phone also includes some smart feature like Comprehensive Safety Protection, which automatically turns off charging when it detects metallic objects likes keys and coins. The charger also has a built-in chip that can adjust the output power automatically according to the ambient temperature and real-time battery percentage.
How to use Wireless charging with your Huawei
The Huawei handset has pre-installed Qi wireless charging. Due to this, it is compatible with Qi wireless chargers such as those found in vehicles and in public spaces. As well as the complete Aircharge range. While using these handsets simply place the handset on the wireless charger to start the charging.
Through the use of the Aircharge Orb, the world’s first and only MFi Certified multi-head adaptor, the owners of non-Qi devices can utilise wireless charging technology in Aircharge public spaces. Simply plug the appropriate connector into the phone’s charging port and place the Aircharge Orb on the surface of the charger for instant power.
Alternatively, to transfer charge to the handset, the Micro-USB receiver can be plugged into a device and placed on a wireless charger.

It has 6.39-inch 2K+ Curved OLED HDR display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has a notch that contains the front camera and face recognition sensors. The handset has the company’s latest 7nm Kirin 980 processor that uses Cortex-A76 based CPU. It supports 40W SuperCharge technology, which the company says can charge 70% of the device’s 4200mAh battery in just 30 minutes.
And about the camera, it has a triple 40MP + 20MP + 8MP sensor configuration, in which the sensors are placed in a square setup. The first sensor is paired with a 27mm wide lens and has a f/1.8 aperture, and the 12 MP sensor has a 16mm ultra-wide lens with a f/2.2 aperture. And The 8MP sensor has a 3X 80mm telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. And also supports the Artificial Image Stabilisation (AIS), along with varying focal range from 16mm with an ultra wide angle, 80 mm with 3x optical zoom, 135mm with the 5x Hybrid zoom to 270 mm with the 10x digital zoom. At the front, the smartphone comes with a 24MP RGB sensor inside the notch.
It has dual speakers without any speaker grill and this is done by routing audio through the Type-C port on the bottom. It works on MIUI 9 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. And it has Midnight Blue, Pink Gold, Emerald Green, Twilight and Black colours in only one 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. If we talk about the price, the Mate 20 Pro is of 1049 Euros (approx Rs 88,000) in Europe. And the phone will be an Amazon exclusive.
